Crafty Google Annoys Biggies in Web Publishing

Google seems to have introduced a new feature called ” Search in search”. Suppose you search for a shopping brand name like futurebazaar.com, it is now possible to search for specific products inside the site itself which is archived by Google’s Bots. Users will love it… they would not mind Google’s small advertisements nestling in some corner of the page one bit.

But the site owners themselves are afraid that this move will avoid people from viewing the local ads or promotions that they run on their own native site. I would say this is might be a smart move from Google from the business perspective, because inevitably it stands to gain from more AD Revenue it makes from searches from one side and from the other, would this lead to the Original Publishers queing up to sign up with Google’s ADs for their own sites? If Google succeeds here, it would help hammer another nail in its competitors’ coffins…
